Welcome to the Mount de Sales Academy website. Whether you are a family visiting for the first time, a current parent or student looking for information about a class or event, an alum who checks in often, or one who is reconnecting with your alma mater, I hope that your time online with MDS is worthwhile. As you explore these pages, you will gain a sense of the Academy today as it continues its strong record of sending well-prepared young men and women out into the world to meet the challenges of the 21 st century.

An independent Catholic, coeducational, college preparatory school, we have been located on one of historic Macon’s highest hills since our founding by the Sisters of Mercy in 1876. We continue to be faithful to our mission of educating young men and women of all cultural, economic, and religious backgrounds. Mount de Sales continues to be the leading school for National Merit Semifinalists in the region.

As we celebrate our 130th year of service to Macon and the Middle Georgia community, we reaffirm the Mercy values that educators in the Mercy tradition hold in common.
