January	Junior “Launch” Parent Meeting
February	Brag Sheet/Resume Assignments given to students
February-April	Individual Conferences held with junior students
March	SAT test date (given at Mount de Sales)
March	College Bus Tour (dates to be determined)
April	Spring Break-great time to go on college visits!
April	ACT test date
May	Brag Sheets and Resumes due
May	SAT test date
May	AP exams taken (if applicable)
June	SAT test date
June	ACT test date
June- August	Make college visits

First Semester of Senior Year
August	Update resumes, if necessary
	Continue college visits
	Register for SAT and/or ACT
September	College Countdown Senior Parent/Student meeting
	ACT test date
	Begin finalizing college lists
	Ask teachers for letters of recommendation
	Complete any Early Action or Early Decision applications
	Complete early scholarship applications
	Continue college visits/attend college rep meetings on campus
October	Many application deadlines occur this month
	SAT test date (given at Mount de Sales)
	Senior College Day-go on more college visits
	Attend meetings with college reps on campus
	ACT test date
November	Many application deadlines occur this month
November	SAT test date
December	College applications with an early January deadline are due
	SAT test date

	During the Christmas break, finalize all applications with a mid-January or early February deadline.

Second Semester of Senior Year
January	Complete applications with spring deadlines
	Submit the FAFSA paperwork on-line
	Complete the CSS Profile on-line, if applicable
	Give mid-year report forms to MDS college counseling office (if any)
	SAT test date
February	ACT test date
March	SAT test date (given at Mount de Sales)
March	Deadline for financial aid applications
February-April	Attend Open Houses on college campuses
	Interview at colleges
	Attend Scholarship/Honors days on college campuses
	File deposits
May	AP students sit for national exams
	Let colleges know your matriculation decision
	Inform MDS college office where to send final transcript
