  • Felicia Woodward Seguin Class of 45

    If you have attended an event at Mount de Sales, chances are you have run into Felicia and Harold Seguin. They are faithful attendees at many occasions from alumni affairs to fundraisers. To Felicia (formerly Felicia Woodward), who graduated in 1945, it seems as though every phase of her life is connected to Mount de Sales. She remembers spending her days as a four year old in the first and second grade classroom of Sister Mary Margaret, because she wanted to come to school like her big sister Evelyn ’40. When it was time for her to go to "real school" Felicia started at Saint Joseph but because her mother thought it was too far for her to walk from their downtown home, she transferred to Alexander II. After 3rd grade, the Woodward family moved to Barnesville only to return a few years later. Read More

    Did a 9th grade science class help determine the path that your life would take? It did for Mandy Schmitt ’97. "Mrs. Bentley alerted us in 9th grade Physical Science class about an opportunity to do field research during the summer.
