Campus Ministry
She connected the rich to the poor,
Catherine McAuley,
the healthy to the sick,
the educated and skilled to the uninstructed,
the influential to those of no consequence,
the powerful to the weak,
to do the work of God on earth.

Community Outreach
The Mount de Sales Community Outreach Program is designed to teach students the responsibility we all share in reaching out and serving the needy members of society. Out program is intended for students to go beyond their current school and church obligations. Parental involvement is of great importance to the success of our program. Parents are encouraged to assist students in choosing organizations that “serve the poor and needy members of society in a way that liberates them and calls forth their full potential.” We strive to infuse in our students a commitment to life-long service.
- Upper School students are required to complete a minimum of 20 hours of service per school year.
- Students must maintain documentation of service performed.
- The Campus Ministry office provides opportunities for outreach.
Spiritual Life
A spiritual life is an important part of the Mount de Sales educational experience. Our school days are centered in prayer as a student body, as a class, or in private prayer. Students, faculty, and staff gather regularly for liturgies and prayer services throughout the school year. Each grade shares the experience of retreats.
