MDS wrestling traveled to Dublin tonight for a tri meet with Dublin and GMC. MDS MS open the night with wins by Byrcen Stevens, Bryson Harrell, and James Noland. The Varsity team beat GMC 42-36 and lost a close dual with Dublin 27-39. Match winners tonight included: Carson Craig, Sean Dufford, Brian Taylor, Wilson Brown, Ashton Jones, and Carter Sparks. |

MDS wrestling hosted Jasper Co and FPD in McAuley Hall tonight. The MS went an impressive 10-2 on the night in individual matches. The varsity fought a tough dual coming down to the wire in the final match falling 42-35 to Jasper co. Individual winners included: B. Stevens, A. Hardy, R. Bruscell, B. Harrell, P. Burden, J. The Varsity wrestling team wrestled tough at the Westfield Duals finishing 2-1 on the day with wins over Southland (54-12) and Cherokee Christian/Windsor (42-30). Your Cavaliers are closing the gap on another top 5 team in the state falling by 2 matches to Strong Rock (35-48). Individual Winners included: Blake Jones, Harris Noland, William Cowart, Nate Frankum, Ashton Jones, William Griffin, David Little, Cooper Zimmerman, Carson Craig, Gabe Howard, Carter Sparks. |

Queen of the County at Harris Co. Recap Big day on the mats at one of the states largest all girls tourneys for your Lady Cavaliers. Congrats to Makayla Batchelor for being and finalist and tournament CHAMPION! Makayla did not give up an offense point all tournament! Dominating day on the mats for your Lady Cavaliers! The camaraderie these ladies have is awesome. Lots of talent in Middle GA women’s wrestling! |

The Cavalier wrestling team had a great night up at Jasper Co. going 7-2 against Strong Rock in individual matches and 8-0 against Jasper co. Our MS also wrestled tough matches and came away with big wins tonight. Our prayers to our friends at Jasper co. as they recover from last weeks storms. Big night in McAuley Hall for your Cavaliers (173pts) who brought home the Bibb Co. Championship in a tight team race against a tough Southwest (165pts) team. We were also blessed to host our 1st ever all girls scramble where all three MDS lady Cavaliers placed! We appreciate our friends in Bibb co for the opportunity to compete! We are stronger together in Bibb co. and last night was a testament to that.
