Mount de Sales Academy is a community called to excellence since 1876. MDS unites tradition and innovation to offer an outstanding college preparatory education. Admissions Events

Lunch Break Campus Tours – Tuesdays from 12-1pm

Our admissions team is available almost every Tuesday from 12-1pm to offer visitors a tour of campus during the lunch break. Lunch break campus tours will begin on September 10th and run throughout this admissions season. Schedule your tour today! Admissions will be in touch with available Tuesdays.

Shadow Days

Shadow Days are an opportunity for prospective students to experience the MDS school day for themselves. Each student guest is paired with an MDS student and has the opportunity to attend our daily break, lunch, and classes. Students do not need to be in the MDS dress code for their scheduled shadow day. There is no better way to explore MDS than to experience the school day for yourself! Contact admissions to learn more and schedule a day that works well for your student.

Open Houses

Open Houses are a great way to see the campus. Admissions has several options for your family!

  • Tuesday, December 3rd | 5:30-7:00pm – Join us for this middle school open house to experience the magic of our middle school. This event is not a drop-in. Please plan to join us for the full timeframe to hear a presentation about middle school at MDS and to participate in a tour of our middle school building.
  • Friday, January 31st | 11am-2pm – Drop in for a campus tour between 11am and 2pm. This event is during the school day and is a great way to experience MDS. Our classes will be in sessions allowing guests to see exactly what it’s like to be a Cavalier. We will offer tours of both the middle and upper schools.

Each open house includes an opportunity to meet our admissions team, administration, teachers, current families, and current students and a campus tour. Come experience what it means to be a Cavalier. Save your spot today!

MDS Entrance Exam

All applicants are required to take the MDS Entrance Exam as a part of their application to MDS. This exam helps us gather more information about each applicant and scores are used to determine merit award recipients. Register for a test date here.

Our Saturday exams will all begin at 8:30am and will be held on the following dates:

  • Saturday, November 9th
  • Saturday, February 8th
