[Macon, Georgia] – Catholic private school, Mount de Sales Academy, located in Macon, Georgia, announces a historic and exciting achievement: for the first time in many years. Not one, but two of our exceptional students have been named Golden Eagle Award winners by United Way of Central Georgia.
Congratulations to Evan Lin, winner in the Technology category, and Isabelle Yousif, winner in Journalism/Marketing/Communications. These talented students from the class of 2025 stood out among dozens of high-achieving nominees from across the Middle Georgia area, excelling through a rigorous application process and in-depth interviews.
Mount de Sales’ Class of 2025 Salutatorian Evan Lin will attend the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in the fall. Isabelle Yousif will begin her college career at the University of Georgia this fall.
Sponsored by the United Way of Central Georgia, the Golden Eagle Awards honor the region’s most accomplished high school seniors across multiple disciplines. Winners receive a scholarship, a prestigious eagle statue, and recognition through various media and United Way’s official website.
