The Madge McCord Knott Academic Resource Center supports, enriches, and extends the educational program of Mount de Sales Academy. Students have access to our extensive collection including print, audiovisual, and electronic resources as well as assistance with research and technology. Computer workstations are available to students for academic computing, and students may also use our collaboration areas or quiet room for their academic needs.
Mercy in Action is the service program at Mount de Sales. Through the program, students and faculty/staff practice mercy and servant leadership in the community. Students, faculty, staff, and parents can subscribe to the Mercy in Action page on the PowerSchool LMS. The MDS Board of Trustees establishes policies and rates in February of the preceding academic year.
Tuition 2019-20 School Year: $13,800 per student in grades 6-12
$75 New Student Registration Fee (due from new families with enrollment agreement)
$150 – Senior Fee (due from families of seniors with enrollment agreement)
$3,000 International Student Fee

Through a partnership with Piedmont Orthopaedics, we provide our teams with a full-time, certified athletic trainer. Amanda Windon is present for games and select practices. She is available to evaluate, treat, and assist student-athletes with rehabilitation at our training room at Cavalier Fields and by appointment at the main campus. Mount de Sales’ athletes may also be evaluated for injuries at Piedmont Orthopaedics (4660 Riverside Drive) from 9 a.m. until 12 noon during the week. Injured students who are treated by Piedmont physicians will be able to complete their rehabilitation with Amanda on campus at no cost. Please be aware that Amanda is unable to perform rehabilitation on patients under the care of physicians outside of the Piedmont network.
The Back Porch school store is open every Tuesday and Friday from 7:45 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The store is stocked with Cavalier gear, spirit wear, uniforms, and school supplies. Parents can purchase items online through their My School Bucks account, and students can pick up the ordered items at the store.
The Gear Trailer is located at Cavalier Fields and is open for all home football games and other select home sporting events.
Proceeds benefit Cavalier Club and support our athletic program.
