2019 Junior Football

Flag Football for First and Second Graders – Flag football is a great way for the beginners to get started and have fun playing the game. It is played on a smaller field, and it’s a great introduction to the game with no contact. There will be games played in-house to introduce the boys to play in a competitive atmosphere.

Junior Division Tackle Football for Third and Fourth Graders – The Junior Division is great for those getting started in tackle football. There will be great emphasis on learning the fundamentals of the game, such as blocking and tackling, and the teaching will be very introductory. They will participate in the league including other Macon schools.

Senior Division Tackle Football for Fifth and Sixth Graders – The Senior Division is a great way to develop your skills as you prepare for middle school and high school football. The Senior Division will compete in a league including other Macon schools, and we will continue to emphasize fundamentals as they further develop their skills.

In each league, the coach’s will emphasize teaching the game in a positive way, and each player on the team will participate in all games and practices. MDS varsity football players will be coaching all teams. Practices will primarily be on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:00–7:30PM, but some games will be on Mondays as well. We will try our best to avoid any Wednesdays and/or weekends.

$100 (Third – Sixth Grade, Junior & Senior Division)
$75 (First – Second Grade, Flag Division)
