Mount de Sales Academy, founded in 1876, is a Catholic, independent college preparatory school serving students in grades 6-12 from 32 zip codes in Middle GA.

ATHLETIC TRAINER

Mount de Sales Academy is seeking a dedicated and passionate Athletic Trainer to provide comprehensive healthcare services to student-athletes while supporting the mission and values of our school. The Athletic Trainer will work closely with coaches, student-athletes, parents, physicians, and school administrators to promote athlete wellness, injury prevention, treatment, and rehabilitation. This position offers a unique opportunity to positively impact the lives of young people while helping build a championship culture focused on excellence, character, and personal growth.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Provide athletic training coverage for practices and home athletic events.
  • Evaluate, treat, and manage athletic injuries and illnesses.
  • Develop and implement injury prevention programs.
  • Coordinate rehabilitation plans and return-to-play protocols.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and injury documentation.
  • Communicate effectively with coaches, parents, physicians, and school personnel regarding
    athlete health and participation status.
  • Coordinate pre-participation physical examinations and medical clearances.
  • Manage emergency action plans and respond appropriately to athletic emergencies.
  • Ensure compliance with state, local, and school policies regarding athletic healthcare.
  • Educate student-athletes on injury prevention, nutrition, hydration, and overall wellness.
  • Assist in maintaining athletic training facilities, equipment, and supplies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training or related field required; Master's degree preferred.
  • Current certification through the Board of Certification (BOC).
  • Eligible for or currently licensed as an Athletic Trainer in the State of Georgia.
  • CPR, AED, and First Aid certification required.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends as required by athletic schedules.
  • Experience working with high school or collegiate athletes preferred.

FRENCH TEACHER

Mount de Sales Academy, founded in 1876, is a Catholic, independent, college preparatory school serving students in grades 6-12 in Middle GA. The French Teacher position is a full-time position responsible for planning and delivering instruction to students in French language and culture.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the Mount de Sales curriculum
  • Provide instruction in French, composition, grammar, and vocabulary
  • Assess and evaluate students through formative and summative assessments
  • Provide feedback and support to students to help them improve their understanding
    and skills
  • Communicate with parents about student progress and provide support as needed
  • Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities
    Stay informed about current trends and best practices in language education
  • Support the activities of the Betty Willis Ruben Global Studies Center

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Master’s degree in French preferred
  • Strong command of the French language, including grammar, vocabulary, and syntax
  • Knowledge of French culture, history, and literature
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to create a positive classroom environment
  • Strong organizational and planning skills
  • Ability to work cooperatively with colleagues

BUS DRIVER

Mount de Sales Academy is seeking a dependable Bus Driver to join our team. We offer competitive pay for our bus drivers. Drivers are responsible for driving after-school routes and activities/sports. This position requires a Class B CDL license.
