Christina Sabo Joins Mount de Sales Staff

Mr. David Held, president of Mount de Sales Academy, announced the appointment of Christina Sabo as director of marketing and communications, effective June 1. Sabo is an alumna of Kennesaw State University and the Art Institute of Atlanta. She currently serves as director of campus ministry and communications for St. John Paul II Catholic High School in Tallahassee, FL.

“Christina is deeply committed to Catholic education where she has managed a communications team and implemented a multi-faced marketing plan to drive enrollment growth at St. John Paul II,” said Held. “Christina is a creative professional who is guided by her Catholic faith making her an excellent fit for Mount de Sales.”

Sabo also is a freelance writer for Catholic Women in Business, a digital platform supporting female leaders and entrepreneurs through education and spiritual resources.

“I am very excited to join the Mount de Sales family to continue to pursue my ardent love of the Faith, our youth, and the mission and values of Catholic education,” said Sabo. “The warmth and joy that I have already felt from the community of Macon and the administration from MDS is insurmountable. I very much look forward to meeting our Cavalier families at the start of the 2023-2024 school year and continuing to promote the ongoing successes that MDS has celebrated for almost 150 years.”

Sabo is relocating to Macon with her husband and son, who will begin his education at St. Joseph Catholic School.
