GIAA State Swim Team Results: Go Cavaliers!

Mount de Sales Academy’s Swim team made great strides at this year’s GIAA State Meet on Thursday, February 2.

  • Talia Fonseca (11) received a 3rd place medal for 50 free and ribbons (top 8) for 200IM and 100 free swim.
  • Sophie Bolan (12) received a ribbon for 200 free and achieved the top 20 on 100 fly and 100 breast.
  • Lily Livingston (12) achieved top 20 in 100 free, 100 back, and 50 free.
  • Gray Sumowski (12) achieved top 20 in 100 free and 100 breast
  • The boys relay team achieved 9th and 11th in the 200 medley and 200 free, respectively.
  • The middle school girls put in a tremendous effort, with some students making their best times of the year.
