Mr. David Held, president of Mount de Sales Academy, announced the appointment of Lindsey Bray as athletic trainer. Ms. Bray has a masters of science in health and human performance from Georgia College and State University where she also completed her undergraduate studies.

Ms. Bray is a certified athletic trainer with experience working with secondary school and college athletes. She served for two years as a graduate assistant athletic trainer for Georgia Military College Preparatory School before being named as head athletic trainer for Wesleyan College in 2020.

“Lindsey brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the position, having worked at both the high school and college levels,” noted Mr. Kenny Epps, athletic director. “She is passionate about her care for student athletes, and she is going to be a major asset to Cavalier athletics.”

Ms. Bray, who grew up in Jones County and was active in sports, is a self-described Bulldogs and Braves fan. She is looking forward to becoming a Cavalier fan as well. “I am so excited to be at Mount de Sales and part of the MDS family,” said Ms. Bray. “I am grateful to Mr. Held and Coach Epps for this amazing opportunity, and I will work to bring the best care to all athletes across the Mount de Sales campus. Go Cavs!”
