Senior Lydia Good has been named a National Merit semifinalist in the 2017 National Merit Scholarship Program. She will have the opportunity to become a finalist and compete for a $2,500 scholarship to be awarded this spring.
Lydia is the only National Merit semifinalist in Macon. She is among 16,000 semifinalists nationwide, out of 1.6 million entrants, selected based on her Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT) scores during her junior year. Finalists for the program will be announced in February.
