[Macon, Georgia]Mount de Sales Academy (MDS) is thrilled to announce a transformative $350,000 challenge grant from an anonymous donor, designed to ignite a new era of growth and excellence. This pivotal opportunity challenges the MDS community to raise $350,000 in matching funds, unlocking a total investment of $700,000 to support key strategic initiatives.

The funding will directly enhance the MDS experience for current and future Cavaliers—enriching student life, invigorating school pride, strengthening community partnerships, elevating philanthropic engagement, and transforming campus spaces.

“This challenge grant represents more than a financial gift; it’s a catalyst for impact,” said Brendan O’Kane, President of Mount de Sales. “Every dollar raised will double in value, allowing us to launch exciting initiatives that will drive enrollment and ensure our students continue to thrive in a vibrant, supportive environment. To help raise funds, I’ll be running the Chicago Marathon. My family, friends, and I are also making a personal donation and collectively committing $26,200 toward this effort. I’m excited to see how people are going to stand up for Mount de Sales.”

Here’s how it works: MDS must raise $350,000 to receive the matching $350,000 from our generous anonymous donor. Until then, we receive nothing, so the momentum starts with us.

The matched funds will fuel projects aligned with MDS’s strategic vision to build a stronger, more dynamic school community. These efforts will ensure that Mount de Sales continues to lead with academic excellence, strong values, and an unwavering commitment to student success.

The MDS community is invited to join this challenge and help unlock the full $700,000 potential. Together, we can shape a bold future for Mount de Sales Academy.
