For the first time in Mount de Sales’ history, the Cavaliers have set a new record for the largest amount raised on Giving Tuesday, exceeding our goal of $16,500 by more than 100%!

Thanks to the support of alumni, parents, faculty, staff, and friends of the Academy, along with several matching gifts, the final total given in support of the Cavaliers was $39,487.

All four matching gifts were unlocked: the $500 match from Mrs. Kelly Smith (’01), the $1,000 match from Ms. Kathryn Harper (’79), a $5,000 matching gift from Jarome Gautreaux (’85), and an anonymous $10,000 matching gift.

The Cavaliers competed for the most funds raised with two teams:

Team Monty with Coach Freeman – Grades 8, 9, 11, and 12, plus Alumni from 1970–1999

Team Frankie with Coach Turner – Grades 6, 7, and 10, plus Alumni from 2000–2025

The generosity, spirit, and belief in our mission continue to inspire us: every gift and every moment you spent cheering us on made a real impact. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for helping us create opportunities, strengthen our traditions, and support our students.
