Ryan was named by the National Football Foundation (NFF) and the College Football Hall of Fame Middle Georgia Chapter as the Mount de Sales Scholar/Citizen/Athlete of the Year.
He is pictured with his brother, Stephen Murphey, a 2012 MDS graduate and NFF recipient, and former MDS coach Pat Patterson.
