Starting at a new school can be scary. Whether you just finished elementary school, or are new to the area and starting in the middle of a school year, that first day is nerve wracking. That is why Mount de Sales Academy provides you with the opportunity to shadow a student for the day. Students follow their host around the entire day to get a feel for how the school works, what kind of people there are, the classes you can take, and the types of sports teams and clubs we offer.
At the Mount, we offer an array of classes to accommodate all learning styles. During your shadow day experience, you will interactively get to experience what these classes are all about. From academics such as English, mathematics, and World Languages, to fine arts including ceramics, theater, and photography, you will be sure to find something that you are passionate about.
Mount de Sales also offers a variety of sports and clubs. Throughout your shadow day, you will meet students that participate on these teams and in these extracurricular activities. Do not be afraid to approach students of all grades and ask them about their involvement, and if you can attend practices. We are always open and willing to have prospective student attend our events and activities.
Here at Mount de Sales, we have people from all walks of life. During your shadow day, you will see that everyone here is welcoming and accepting. Feel free to get to know other Cavaliers by asking questions and even exchanging phone numbers, email addresses, and adding friends on Snapchat. We are dedicated to making sure that you feel accepted and appreciated at all times here at the Mount.
