GEORGIA CERTIFICATE OF MERIT
This award recognizes juniors who are in the top 5% of their class.

CUM LAUDE SOCIETY
Membership in this organization represents the highest academic designation awarded a Mount de Sales student. Junior membership is limited to the top 5% of the class based on cumulative academic GPA through the third grading period of the junior year.

Chatham University honors students who are dedicated to sustainability and community development.

Presbyterian College honors students who are ranked in the top 10% of the junior class and who have a 3.5 GPA or higher. Admitted students are eligible for a $1,000 per year scholarship.

WOFFORD SCHOLARS
To qualify as a Wofford College Scholar, a student should be ranked in the top 10% of the class and have achieved a combined score of 1300 on the SAT or a 28 on the ACT.

UNIVERSITY OF ROCHESTER AWARDS
The University of Rochester sponsors the following prestigious awards that recognize high school juniors’ outstanding achievements in leadership and academics.

Bausch + Lomb Honorary Science Award
The award is presented to a student with high achievement and rigor in science and math as well as positive contributions to the school and the community.

The award is presented to a student with demonstrated commitment to understanding and addressing difficult social issues, leadership and dedication to community action, and strong grades and rigorous courses in the humanities and social sciences.

The award is presented to a student with strong leadership experience, high grades and challenging courses, and extensive involvement in extracurricular activities.

This scholarship is given through Susan Crawford, a 1963 graduate. The program rewards student literary talent as exhibited in exceptional knowledge of grammar and mastery of the craft of writing.
