Christina Walker is a veteran of the arts. She’s found her niche in her junior year, creating beautiful sculptures in balsa wood. She also is leading the way in our new 3-D models class.
Christina is a very methodical artist and who spends many weeks planning a sculpture. Her most recent work is a beautiful “Dreamsicle,” made completely of balsa wood, acrylic paint, silicone and polymer glues. It looks so realistic with its drips of pretend sherbet, that it makes one dream of summers on the beach, popsicles, and the ice cream truck!
