HOMECOMING WEEK!
September 23-28th we will celebrate Homecoming with dress-downs, costume parades, special treats and a parent lunch. The softball, volleyball, and cross country teams are having great seasons and this week is for all of them as well as the football team! Friday the school day will conclude with a pep rally before the big game on Friday night at 7:30pm. The upper school dance is on Saturday night.
Out-of-Uniform Week (September 23-27)
Students and faculty will show school spirit every day by dressing down in theme. RULES: All shirts must have sleeves and shorts must be appropriate length. Students may be sent home if dress is deemed inappropriate. Students may wear any kind of shoe and hats are fine to wear.
Monday (Pajama Day)
*dress in your favorite pajamas
Tuesday (Squad Day/Twin Day)
*dress alike or as a team or group
Wednesday (Meme/Social Media Day)
*dress as your favorite from social media
(The Parent’s Association will provide snow-cones for you at break)
Thursday (Throwback Day)
*dress as you did in childhood OR as someone from the past
Friday (Crazy Blue & Gold Day)
*dress head-to-toe in blue and gold…the crazier the better!
Lunch on the Lawn
Our Fall Lunch on the Lawn is Thursday, September 26 from 12:30-1:10 pm. Parents are invited to join us on campus for this event. Bring fast food, a home-packed picnic, or purchase a box lunch in advance (ham or turkey sandwich, chips, fruit, cookie, and a fountain drink for $5.50). Box lunch orders MUST be placed by this Friday at noon by using the following link. https://mtdesales.link/lunch. Regular cafeteria service will not be available.
Upper School Homecoming Dance
The Upper School Homecoming Dance is on Saturday, September 28th in McAuley Hall from 8:00-11:00pm. Once inside, students must remain until 10:30pm. Admission is $10 per person, payable at the door.
