Senior Isabelle Sharon is a National Merit semifinalist in the 2019 National Merit Scholarship Program.

Isabelle, who returned to Mount de Sales this year after studying abroad in Chile during 2017-2018, is among 16,000 semifinalists out of 1.6 million entrants who were selected based on Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT) scores. Semifinalists have an opportunity to compete for 7,500 National Merit Scholarships worth more than $31 million. More than 90% will attain finalist status, and about half of the finalists will win a National Merit Scholarship.
