Mount de Sales is the recipient of a $1,000 ExxonMobil Educational Alliance Grant. Shawn Heacox, a representative of Walthall Oil Company, presented the check to Kari Alderman, Middle School head.

The grant will be used to expand opportunities for students in the areas of science and math. The ExxonMobil Educational Alliance grant is dedicated to supporting education in science, technology, engineering and math programs.
