With students hailing from all across Middle Georgia, it is no wonder that as many as ten elementary schools may be represented in any 20-person class at Mount de Sales. This opens up the chance for students to form friendships that may not otherwise exist, except at MDS.
God intended for us to live in community with one another—for support, direction, encouragement, and guidance. Students, like current eighth-grader Ava St. Peter, treasure the community a Mount de Sales education brings. “There are so many people you can go to for life advice and life experience,” Ava said. “Being a Cavalier is like a family.” She is passionate about the opportunities MDS has that allow her to help others, and she looks forward to meeting even more people in ninth grade, as 20 to 25 new students join the freshman class each year.
St. Peter and her family appreciate the unique opportunities and supportive environment MDS provides. Learning to work well with others, encouraging new ideas and ways of thinking, and staying cool under pressure are things St. Peter said teachers have taught her, as she prepares to enter high school.
The future is bright for current and incoming students as they build friendships and connections within their Cavalier family.
